How do I change the resolution of my exported images?

You may notice that the default resolution of your copied and pasted images may not be high enough for your needs. Picture resolution may be easily changed in your FCS Express User Options.

To adjust your picture resolution options, please navigate to the File tab->Options.

The user options screen below will appear. Notice the Picture Output Options section highlighted in red. By clicking on the Use this resolution radio button, you may now enter any resolution of your choice. In this example, we decided to use 400.

Please note that FCS Express continues to support the .PNG file type, which provides better compression for the types of plots created in FCS Express and also results in a better image. You may want to try exporting with this file extension to make your graphics look their best.
