Linking Quadrants

One of the many time saving features that FCS Express offers is the ability to link quadrants from one plot to another. This means that when the quadrants on one plot are moved, the quadrants on the other plot will be automatically updated. Linking quadrants is useful in circumstances when you want to set up a negative quadrant on your controls, and have the quadrants on your sample data automatically updated.

FCS Express also offers the ability for you to gate on a quadrant. This was a highly requested feature and is useful if you want to use your quadrants to set a negative (or positive) population and have your other plots only show cells in that population.

The two plots below contain unlinked quadrants.

Quad to Quad linking allows us to link the right plot quads to the left plot.

The quadrants below are now linked

....the plot on the right automatically duplicates the quadrant positioning of the plot on the left and updates it's statistics.
