FCS Express: Marker to Gate Linking

One of the many timesaving features that FCS Express offers is the ability for you to gate on a marker. This feature is useful if you want to use your marker to set a negative (or positive) population and have your other plots only show cells in that population. All you have to do is convert a marker to a gate with a click of a button, and then you can use that gate like you would in any gate formula. Converting a marker into a gate could not be any easier! By right-clicking on the histogram you can easily choose to convert a marker to a gate or to link the marker to the gate.

 

 

Right click on the 1D plot of interest and choose Convert Marker to Gate to either Convert or Convert and Link the marker to a gate


 

Converting a marker to a gate: The marker will move independently of the gate.
Converting and linking a marker to a gate: When the marker is adjusted the linked gate will automatically update.
