FCS Express has many gating features to make it easier and more efficient to analyze your data sets.
Data Specific Gates allow gates to be assigned to specific data files loaded in the data list. For a given data file, gating position and shape may be modified independently without changing the original Master gate applied to other data files.
The Gate View and the Gate Navigator allows you to keep an eye on your gating hierarchy, as well as change gate properties and the gate hierarchy as well. Finally, the Gate Navigator allso allows you to keep track of your Data Specific Gates.
FCS Express supports customization of quadrants, like setting them as Floating or Percentile. The four quadrants are defined as follows: Upper Left (UL), Upper Right (UR), Lower Left (LL), and Lower Right (LR).
Markers are tools that are used to analyze data in either a 1D histogram or a 2D plot (they are also called 1D Gates in the latter case). Markers capture the data that falls between the low bound and the high bound.
