DNA Cell Cycle Analysis
IN THIS VIDEO:
In this webinar, we cover how to work with the Multicycle AV Cell Cycle modeling tools in FCS Express. We cover the basics of cell cycle analysis and how to use the sophisticated tools Multicycle offers to perform automatic debris removal and apply different models to your data sets.
LEARN HOW TO:
- Insert Cell Cycle Data
- Correct for Debris
- Choose the Cycle Options

Kinetics Analysis
IN THIS VIDEO:
Explore how kinetics experiments are particularly useful for examining changes in DNA content, antibody binding, and calcium flux over time. By adding a compound (usually a drug) to a sample and monitoring influx, efflux, or binding of your probe over time, unique information can be gathered. FCS Express allows you to create derived parameters and to display and analyze your kinetics data in an easy and user-friendly manner.
LEARN HOW TO:
- Understand Kinetic Experiments
- Utilizing Parameter Math Transformation
- Formatting Plot Resolution to Optimize Data Display

Proliferation Analysis
IN THIS VIDEO:
In this webinar we will cover how to work with Proliferation modeling tools in FCS Express. In the webinar we will cover the powerful Proliferation modeling tools in FCS Express that may be used to automatically resolve cell divisions and extract the required statistics for you. This section of the webinar will show you how to set up a proliferation analysis in FCS Express, format plots for publication quality results, and use tokens to automatically calculate and subtract background noise from your data.
LEARN HOW TO:
- Set Up a Proliferation Experiment
- Insert a Proliferation Plot
- Format a Proliferation Plot

Subtraction Plots
IN THIS VIDEO:
Explore the use of subtraction plots, FCS Express allows you to designate which file is the sample and which file is the control. You can automatically calculate the percentage positive via channel by channel subtraction or by using the Overton subtraction technique.
LEARN HOW TO:
- Insert a Subtraction Plot
- Change and Select Control and Sample Files
- Apply and Format Histogram Statistics
